The Psychedelic Era returned to the Franck Muller brand this year, injecting a wave of provocative energy into the brand's latest high quality cheap watches - Vanguard Skeleton Color Dreams. Like our namesake founder, we're breaking the rules and challenging watchmaking norms as we revive one of Franck Muller's boldest designs for WPHH 2022.

Art collector and craftsman of fine watches, Franck Muller's two passions often collide in creative bursts. This is how the first Color Dreams watch was born. In 2000, we used the dial as a canvas to create a rainbow effect on the iconic oversized hour markers. Since then, Color Dreams has entered every corner of the Franck Muller collection.

Our experimentation with the Color Dreams concept has continued over the past decade with boldly colored dials and iridescent gem-set swiss watch men. Exclusive to Southeast Asia, the Vanguard Skeleton Color Dreams is the latest expression of this lively design, featuring a lightweight carbon fiber case that complements the lightweight FM 1740-VS movement.

The skeleton movement is designed in the modern Franck Muller style and was designed as a skeleton watch from the beginning. The movement's satin-anodized aluminum bridges are fastened directly to the inner case, precision-machined to fit the curved case design. Architectural inspirations on galvanized movement components are complemented by vivid pops of colour, from the fiery red barrel bridge to the small seconds counter in marigold yellow at 6 o'clock.

The plates and bridges of the Vanguard Skeleton Color Dreams wrist watches for men are painted in the signature hue through an electrolytic anodizing process, which requires specially fabricated aluminum components rather than the brass or nickel silver traditionally used.

Now Available in 43MM CarboTech
The new V 43 case is extremely light and is made of CarboTech - a synthetic material made of carbon fiber, compressed with high-end polymers at 120 degrees for 9 hours. The unique stripes on each piece are formed by compressing carbon fiber, so no two watches have the same pattern. The case is entirely hand-polished with no external polish.

The FM 1740-VS movement is designed with a large balance wheel, runs at a finely tuned 18,000vph, and is powered by stacked twin barrels, providing power for up to 7 days. Now, the movement has been further tuned to be housed in a mid-sized 43mm carbon fiber Vanguard case to fit a wide range of wrists, both women and men. The ergonomic Vanguard case is designed to fit snugly around the wrist, with soft rounded edges enhancing its sculpted features.
