Abercrombie & Fitch (ANF) reports its third quarter earnings on Wednesday, November 14, 2012.

Analysts are expecting Abercrombie and Fitch UK to report earnings of 60 cents per share, up 5.3% from a year ago when it reported earnings of 57 cents per share.

The consensus estimate has dipped over the past three months from 72 cents. Analysts are expecting earnings of $2.49 per share for the fiscal year. Analysts project revenue to fall 5.2% year-over-year to $1.02 billion for the quarter, after being $1.08 billion a year ago. For the year, revenue is projected to come in at $4.65 billion.

The Abercrombie UK company’s reported declining profits in the last three quarters. In second quarter, net income fell 51.6% from the year earlier, while the figure fell 88.1% in the first quarter and 78.9% in the fourth quarter of the last fiscal year.

Most analysts think investors should stand pat on Abercrombie UK Sale, with 18 of 29 analysts rating it hold. Analysts have become more cautious about the stock in the last three months. Since August 13, 2012, the stock price has accordingly fallen 3% to $31.50 from $32.47.

Founded in 1892, A&F specializes in a range of casual wear for consumers between the ages of 18 to 22. The company has presence in nearly 300 locations across the United States.

Abercrombie & Fitch (NYSE:ANF) runs about 1,055 stores in the U.S. and overseas operating under the Abercrombie and Fitch Outlet, Abercrombie kids, Hollister Co. and Gilly Hicks nameplates.

The clothing firm is also expanding internationally. In the past few years, it has opened several flagship stores in Copenhagen, Milan and London.
